Intro to Learning to Play the Gong

Step  into the world of resonance and rhythm as you join our "Play the  Gong"  playshop!  Unleash the power of this ancient instrument with  expert  guidance on techniques, mindfulness, and the art of creating   mesmerizing soundscapes.

Learn about the history of the gong and its many uses, the science  and mystery of how sound healing helps us, and much more! Explore the  nuanced strokes and discover the therapeutic vibrations that lie within  each strike. Learn about and play over 14 different gongs and receive  guidance on getting your first gong!

Whether you're a seasoned percussionist or a curious beginner, this  immersive experience  will open doors to a sonic journey like no other.

Playshop instructional and hands on day runs from 2-5pm with a break  from 5-6pm where you can bring a picnic to nourish your body and have a  walk the land. Day includes the open to the public 6pm sound healing  session ($40 value) from Dawn and David as part of the playshop too!
